For this new build, our clients wanted a home that felt timeless and layered — capturing the character of vintage transitional pieces while still feeling fresh and tailored. We collaborated closely to design a space that blends old and new seamlessly.
I curated every detail throughout the home, from custom Chinese watering pot lamps that line the walls to hand block–printed fabrics and custom artwork featured in every room. Mixing metals allowed us to achieve a collected, evolved-over-time aesthetic, while layers of linens, cottons, and wool rugs added warmth and texture.
Custom window treatments completed the design, giving the home a polished, private, and beautifully layered feel.
My contributions to this project included space planning and furniture layout, comprehensive art curation, custom window treatment design, and sourcing accessories throughout the home. I also assisted in selecting lighting and other key elements that cohesively brought the entire house together.
