This home is part of an ongoing project for a family of five in Medina, this 7,000-square-foot home overlooking Lake Washington draws inspiration from the moody palettes and rich wood tones of the greater Seattle area. Soaring ceilings and a sculptural glass staircase anchor the architecture, shaping a masculine, quietly edgy retreat.
Grounded in durable, natural materials, the interiors layer deep blacks with heavy neutrals and pewters to create warmth and dimension. Completed in phases—first furnishing and art curation, then wallpaper and architectural wall treatments—the home continues to evolve, gaining character alongside the family it was designed for.
My contributions to this project included the full furnishings package, paint color direction, slab selections, lighting design, accessorizing, custom wall treatments, and tailored window treatments—each layered to bring cohesion, depth, and refinement to the overall vision.
